Ford turns a profit without needing a bailout!

Ford was the only of the “big 3” US automakers to not take government bailout dollars.  Given the state of the other two (GM & Chrysler), it just goes to show you that bailing out poorly run private companies with public money really does little to improve the situation.  Bad companies are simply bad companies, and welfare will only prolong the inevitable.
